When he hurled the grease-caked, overhead stove vent into a dining room full of customers, Robert Irvine had made his point. The well-known TV chef was completely and utterly repulsed by the kitchen at Anna Maria's Restaurant, and he wasn't letting anyone eat there until significant changes were made.

That was among the more notable moments of Wednesday night's episode of the Food Network hit "Restaurant: Impossible," in which the Dunmore restaurant was given a $10,000 makeover by Irvine and his crew.

The bulk of the episode was devoted to Irvine taking owners Mary Sileo and her son, Tucker, to task over the shockingly dirty conditions of its kitchen and basement. Among other things, the show depicted food and grease caked onto stovetops, walls and equipment; food stored by chemicals in the building's basement; open containers of food in refrigerators and debris on the floors. At one point, Irvine was shown on-camera nearly vomiting.
