Has anyone else noticed that they are totally not what they used to be? The peanut butter isn't real, the "cookie" part is really flakey tasting, and the chocolate tastes cheap. I know they changed manufacturers, but seems like too much of a

I noticed the same thing. There is also less peanut butter on them it seems.

I really looked forward to these cookies every year, but now they are just a wafer cookie with 1/4 peanut butter cup on them.

"To say thank you for protecting us, and I thought they would like a cookie because they're far away from their moms," Annabelle said.

Annabelle's father, a Lieutenant Colonel with the 10th Combat Aviation Brigade, says she's knows what it's like when dad's gone and wanted to make sure all soldiers know they're missed back home.

"I'm very proud of my daughter," Lt. Col. Erick Sweet said. "This was her all her. She's a very empathetic young lady. She's constantly thinking about the soldiers."

And the USO's director says it was one of the most touching things she's ever seen.

"It's incredible that children so young are so perceptive. This war has been going on a long time, over a decade. Here she is, her whole life all she's known is our nation at war and at six years old she knows to support the troops? It's powerful and she's an inspiration," Karen Clark said.
